The relief operations in the flood-affected areas are continuing rapidly on behalf of the army, rations and tents were distributed among the victims.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), relief operations are being carried out rapidly by the Pakistan Army in the flood-affected areas.
5487 packets of ration and more than 1200 tents were distributed among the victims by Pakistan Army.
According to ISPR, more than 25,000 flood-affected patients have been treated, while 117 relief camps have been established across the country.
The Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR) says that an Army Flood Relief Coordination Center has also been established. In South Punjab, DG Khan and Rajanpur areas are the most affected.
In Balochistan, the areas of Khuzdar, Sibi, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, Jhal Magsi, Lasbela, Sahabpur and Mosi Khel have been affected.
Sindh includes Tando Allahyar, Khairpur, Badin, Dadu, Sukkur, Qamber Shahdad Kot, Ghotki, Larkana.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, DI Khan, Tank, Swat, Nowshera and Charsadda have been affected. Gilgit-Baltistan includes Gilgit Hunza and Ghazar.
Pakistan Army opened an account to help the flood affected people
According to ISPR, Pakistan Army has opened an account to help the flood affected people. After the permission of the government, this account has been opened to help the affected people, in which people can deposit the aid for the flood affected people in this account.
This account is opened in Askari Bank GHQ branch.
On the other hand, according to ISPR, Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Hasan Azhar Hayat visited the flood affected areas in Nowshera. The Corps Commander called for emergency rescue relief and rehabilitation efforts with the help of civil administration.
Corps Commander Peshawar Lt. Gen. Hasan Azhar Hayat has directed that all resources should be used to help the affected people and restore essential infrastructure.
937 people have died after rains and floods across the country, while lakhs of houses have been washed away.
NDMA has released a recent report on the devastation of heavy rains since June 14.
